Students from Swinburne’s business, arts & design, screen & media, and ICT departments present a body of work that reflects Swinburne’s vision of people and technology working together to build a better world.
This collaboration showcases graduate work through screenings, exhibitions, launches, and workshops, presenting a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our vocational courses and celebrate our student achievements.
This exciting collaboration between Swinburne University of Technology and ACMI runs from Friday 6 Dec to Sunday 8 Dec in four different venues within ACMI.
Event management students played a critical role in the organisation and running of this Creative Intersections – Swinburne Graduate Exhibition and Screening event. The event has acted as the perfect bridge between supervised, simulated environments and activities, and job-ready, real-world experiences.
Next Gen – Creative Studio is a nimble, dynamic social media agency, that provides Diploma of Social Media Marketing students with real life digital project and agency experience.
Students were tasked with creating packaging for sustainable seaweed products bridging the gap between customers and accessibly of seaweeds in Australia, examining how circularity can affect packaging design decisions and impact our environment positively.
The Second Chance project involves the redesign of the Old Fire Station on Williams Street, Hawthorn as a community-based, drop-in- centre for both locals and vulnerable people, including the homeless. The brief is to design a secure, clean, safe, and supportive emergency overnight accommodation.
Examining the convergence and evolution of digital and physical relationships through glitch art, this project engages with the systems and technologies that shape contemporary life through the manipulation of digital artifacts.
Selected student works from across the course are also on display.
From arts reviews and feature articles to flash fiction and scripts, this showcase of written works had been curated to reflect the various genres, themes, platforms and media explored in the Professional Writing and Editing courses.
CINAESTHESIA showcases films created by Swinburne’s graduate Screen and Media students. These short works express what students are passionate about and demonstrate their creative and technical skills as professional filmmakers and animators.
